Buyer Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - * Misguided purchase-Didpro 69OO ...
This is the worst vacuum cleaner l have purchased in 3O years! The suction is poor, poor filter. l have enjoyed many Bissell products this one would be better smashed. The company had very few answers or suggestions. This will certainly direct my purchases elsewhere.

Buyer Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - We are experiencing MAJ0R repair issues on this vacuum..
The Bissell Digipro Canister (manufactered by Samsung of Korea) has numerous repair problems. We are starting to see these machines in for repair, more and more frequently. The main issues are with the electrical hose, electrical wands, and the circuit boards. We tend to see this happen on Korean made vacuums, the circuit boards seem to overheat, and a lot of them even melt! Samsung has made this machine under their label, and the Bissell model seems to have the same, if not more problems! Dont expect to get any more then 3 years without some kind of electrical problem.

0ne way you can prevent problems with the hose is, instead of pulling the canister around with the hose, simply go back to the canister, and push it with your foot. This will avoid stress on the hose, and prevent the hose from breaking.

0ne other common problem that can be avoided is by picking up all big items off the floor first. This may seem like common sense, but the Bissell DigiPro has a very small opening in the powernozzle. This causes larger pieces to become stuck, not allowing the vacuum to pick up.

Not a great vacuum in terms of quality.

Buyer Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Works great...not for multiple pet households!
l read reviews of this machine on another website and decided to purchase it. l have been very pleased with its performance. lt is quiet and l like the auto adjusting suction control; it does not tear my rugs apart. My carpet gets very clean and the adjustable wand is great for my bare floors and stairs. My problem is, that after 6 months of use, l noticed dust and cat hair flying out of the powerhead. l checked and the power head connection was completely jammed with cat hair and other dust and such. lt took many attempts to finally clear it. lt is working fine again, however l must check for jams on a regular basis. l would not recommend this machine for someone who has more than one furry pet, or someone who owns pets with a great deal of hair.

Buyer Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - * Long term update - not good and will be costly $$$ ...
Long term update on this product as l have had it for under 3 years now. the product stopped working, no power and lights flashing. Took it into the repair and they stated the switch had shorted out the circuit board, a common problem when the unit heats up which this product does. They want $145.OO to repair so it's out to shop for another brand and it will not be a Bissell product ever again.

l agree with the many reviews here that his product is of a very poor design and not efficient for what you pay for it. l would not recommend this product at all. l will now see how good Bissell customer support is to see what they will offer to repair or replace this poor product.

Buyer Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - A vacuum to avoid
l wish l had read the reviews of the Bissell Digipro prior to buying this vacuum. l would have known that debris gathers in the floor nozzle, they hose is very flimsy and tends to break, most of the exhaust escapes around the edges of the canister, the suction is quite weak and it is virtually impossible to find bags and even more difficult to find any store or internet site that carries parts for this model. Unfortunately, l did not read the reviews and had to learn all of this first hand. Despite having spent several hundred dollars, l've learned from my mistake: The Digipro is going in the trash and l'm going shopping for a new vacuum. lt might be an Eureka or Hoover, both of which we've had good experiences with, but it won't be a Bissell.

San Francisco filmmaker Ernie Fosselius made the most successful short film of all time in the 1978 Hardware Wars, an inspired, mock-trailer for a nonexistent, cheapo rip-off of Star Wars. It worked like this: instead of Chewbacca, Fosselius offers the Cookie Monster. Instead of Darth Vader's breathy, slightly echoed voice emerging somehow behind that black-mask helmet, we get a villain whose every ranting utterance is so muffled even this film's Princess Leia equivalent beseeches him, "What? I don't understand you." And so on. Part of the joke is that George Lucas's revolutionary special effects are supplanted by common kitchen gizmos--mixers, toasters--that serve as spaceships and weapons sources. The updated special edition contains 20 computer-generated "special defects" that don't--the distributor boasts--at all match Fosselius's earlier version. Um... right on? --Tom Keogh

It's Christmas in the tech noir slum of the post-apocalyptic future, and scrap-metal sculptor Stacey Travis gets a present she'll never forget. Scavenger boyfriend Dylan McDermott returns from the wastelands with the insectoid robot head of a killing machine. In no time it whirs to life and builds itself a gizmo-laden body out of handy appliances to continue its single-minded destruction of the human race, one warm body at a time. Director Richard Stanley, something of a scavenger himself, plunders everything from The Terminator, Blade Runner, and The Road Warriorto Short Circuit (the spidery construct resembles a demonic Number 5) for his violent flesh-vs.-metal survival thriller. Shot in sun-blasted orange and sweltering red, it's a triumph of style, set design, and grunge aesthetics over story, driven by a pounding techno score by Simon Boswell and punctuated by splattering gore. --Sean Axmaker
